A highly respected independent day school in Edgbaston is seeking an inspiring Teacher of Geography to join its academically ambitious Humanities faculty from January 2026 .
The Role
You will teach Geography across KS3–KS5 , delivering a curriculum that balances physical and human geography with contemporary global issues. Small class sizes allow for discussion-led teaching, extended writing and genuine depth of understanding. Geography is a popular subject, with strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level and consistently high outcomes.
Teachers are encouraged to stretch pupils intellectually, develop strong evaluative skills and foster curiosity about the world. There is scope to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment, including academic societies and lecture-style sessions for senior pupils.
