Financial Accountant
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end and year-end closes, including journals, reconciliations and reporting packs
- Maintain general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations and cash/bank processes
- Support statutory reporting (FRS 102), technical accounting and group consolidation
- Assist with audit processes, ensuring strong documentation, controls and compliance
- Support tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, corporation tax and filings
- Manage payroll reconciliations and statutory deductions
- Own the finance reporting timetable and ensure deadlines are met
- Drive process improvements, controls and system enhancements
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to support financial insight and decision-making
