Keen interest in machine learning is encouraged to drive innovative capabilities and solutions. Your collaboration skills and deep understanding of the banking industry will be essential as you work across complex remediation programs spanning multiple products. As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In this role you’ll

  • Identify opportunities to prevent remediation, simplify operations, implement automation or improve efficiency
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders from across our business to ensure successful implementation of solutions
  • Utilise available tools and technologies to implement data-driven solutions
  • Manage a range of high-value and sensitive remediation projects
  • Develop and maintain robust, high-quality documentation for audit and knowledge capture
  • Act as the business contact for related projects and serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics
  • Lead the development, maintenance, and improvement of high-quality strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Support the Head of Redress by helping shape the analytics pipeline
  • Strong analytical reasoning skills to extract data insights, translating them into tangible business objectives
  • Technical skills with proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, SAS, Big Query, SQL and Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to share complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate way
  • Strong stakeholder / relationship management skills with experience of collaborating with a variety of senior stakeholders
  • Project management experience within Data and Analytics
  • Broad based banking experience, financial services or similar
