Location: UK Wide (Remote / Home Based)

Salary: £13 – £18 per hour (£25,350 – £35,100 per annum equivalent, based on a 37.5-hour week)

Job Type: Part-Time (Full-Time options also available)

Reporting To: Content Manager (Client Side)

About the Opportunity

Vita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a UK-based business growing its content output. We are looking to appoint a Content Writer on a flexible part-time or full-time basis. This is a fully remote role suited to writers with prior commercial writing experience and a strong sense of brand tone.

About the Role

The Content Writer will produce a range of content for blog, web, email, and social use, helping the client communicate consistently and effectively with its audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write engaging blog posts, articles, and web copy
• Adapt content for email, social, and other marketing channels
• Maintain a consistent brand tone of voice across all outputs
• Apply basic SEO principles to written content where appropriate
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and SEO teams on briefs
• Proof and edit own work to a high standard before submission
• Manage workload across multiple briefs with reliable turnaround

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a content writing, copywriting, or editorial role
• Strong portfolio of published or sample work
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• Good understanding of brand tone and audience-focused writing
• Awareness of basic SEO and content best practice
• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote environment
• A stable home internet connection and a quiet workspace

Desirable (Nice to Have)

• Experience writing for specific industries (e.g. tech, finance, lifestyle)
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Webflow
