Audit Partner - Birmingham
I am working with a leading accountancy firm with a substantial presence in the UK, known for delivering outstanding service across a range of industries, who are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Partner to join their team in Birmingham. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of audit quality, and mentoring a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the audit process for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Plan, execute, and complete audit engagements, effectively managing risk and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships, providing strategic advice and identifying opportunities for business growth.
- Lead and mentor audit teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with fellow partners and senior management to support and enhance the firm's strategic direction and growth initiatives.
- Keep updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the firm's services remain relevant and competitive.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with Responsible Individual (RI) status.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients and leading successful audit engagements.
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities.
