About the Service
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children’s residential provider for a small, specialist 5-bed home supporting children and young people aged 8–18 with learning disabilities and physical disabilities.
This is a highly child-centred service focused on delivering structured, nurturing care that promotes independence, emotional development, and positive life outcomes.
The home provides a stable, therapeutic environment where consistency, safeguarding, and personalised support are at the core of everything done.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take full operational and regulatory responsibility for the home.
You will lead from the front, setting the tone for the service, developing your team, and ensuring every young person receives safe, high-quality, individualised care.
This is a leadership role where expectations are high, standards are non-negotiable, and your impact will be directly felt in the outcomes of the children you support.

Proven experience as a Registered Manager or strong Deputy ready to step up
Strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
Experience within learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities (preferred)
Confident, resilient leadership style with the ability to motivate teams
Strong communication and organisational skills
Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people
Benefits
Salary up to £47,000

The Opportunity
This is a chance to take ownership of a specialist children’s home where leadership really matters. You’ll be shaping culture, building a strong team, and ensuring children with complex needs are supported to achieve stability, growth, and independence.
If you’re an experienced residential leader who thrives in a hands-on, high-accountability role, this is a strong next step.
