Humanities Teacher

- Salary: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
An Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Humanities Teacher with a Geography specialism to join their department from April 2026 on a supply basis. The role will primarily involve teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to support across the wider Humanities curriculum where required. You will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, while encouraging analytical thinking and real-world application of knowledge.
You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Geography, ensuring strong progress and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering Humanities subjects if required
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting pupil progress and attainment
