What you will do:

* Perform complex transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) for children, addressing both structural and non-structural heart conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
* Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective care plans
* Manage and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring it is in excellent condition at all times
* Keep detailed records of procedures and outcomes for each patient, ensuring compliance and accuracy
* Provide expert advice and training to junior staff when required, sharing your knowledge to raise the overall standard of care within the department

Responsibilities and requirements:

* To thrive in this role, you must hold EACVI accreditation for paediatric/congenital heart disease or BSE Congenital heart disease accreditation
* Additionally, you must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Since the role may involve travel between sites or working in a variety of locations, having a valid UK driving licence would ensure flexibility and efficiency in your daily operations
