This ‘Outstanding’ rated secondary school serves approximately 1,400 students aged 11–18 and is known for its inclusive culture, exceptional results, and dedication to staff wellbeing. The school is based in central Birmingham and easily accessible via public transport.
The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, policy compliance, and staff wellbeing. Working closely with senior leaders, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school continues to attract and retain exceptional staff.
Experience and Qualifications
CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience
Proven experience managing HR operations in a school or similar setting
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of safeguarding and HR compliance
Salary
The salary for this HR Manager role will be paid according to experience on the school’s support staff leadership scale.
