Senior School Administrator - Birmingham, West Midlands
A large, well-established 11–18 secondary school in Birmingham is seeking to appoint an experienced and highly organised Senior School Administrator to join its central administrative team. This is a full-time, permanent role within a school known for its clear systems, strong leadership and professional working culture.
The role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, acting as a central point of contact for staff, students, parents and external agencies.
The Role
As Senior School Administrator, you will take responsibility for a broad range of administrative duties, supporting both senior leaders and the wider school community.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily administrative operations and front-office functions
Managing student records and maintaining accurate data across school systems
Supporting senior leadership with scheduling, reporting and correspondence
Acting as a key liaison point for parents, visitors and external partners
Coordinating cover, meetings and key school events
Supporting safeguarding and compliance processes in line with school policies
This role requires a confident, professional approach and the ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively.
