School Business Manager role - Birmingham Outstanding School

We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a high-calibre and strategic School Business Manager. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and offers a fantastic opportunity to lead the school’s non-teaching functions. We are looking for an individual with an inspirational approach to resource management, ensuring the school's "engine room" supports a consistently outstanding quality of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the school’s financial strategy, including long-term budget planning

• Oversee the administrative faculty, premises, and health and safety teams

• Collaborate with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure high standards of compliance

• Implement creative and efficient systems to enhance the school’s productivity

• Act as a dedicated point of contact for external stakeholders and service providers

Qualifications and Experience

• DSBM/CSBM or a degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

• Significant experience in school business management or senior operations

• Meticulous attention to detail and high standards of professional conduct

• Must have the right to work in the UK

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: £45,000 – £55,000 ( negotiable for the right candidate )
