About the Role
A prestigious independent day school for girls in the West Midlands is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join its high-performing Mathematics faculty from January 2026. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll deliver engaging, intellectually challenging lessons that develop fluency, problem-solving and logical reasoning. You’ll encourage students to think critically, explore mathematical ideas in depth, and apply their understanding creatively across disciplines.

In addition, you’ll:

  • Support GCSE and A-Level classes, including preparation for university entrance tests where appropriate
  • Contribute to departmental planning and continuous curriculum development
  • Play an active role in academic enrichment and co-curricular events
  • Take part in the wider life of the school through activities, societies or leadership opportunities

About You
You’ll bring:

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong academic background in Mathematics or a related discipline
  • The ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in able learners
  • Excellent communication skills and a reflective, professional approach
  • A passion for developing mathematical thinking and scholarly independence
