Principal / Associate Structural Engineer Location: Longbridge, Birmingham Salary: DOE Job Type: Permanent Sector: Civil Engineering About the Company This is for a leading independent specialist consultancy operating in the built environment sector, focusing on transport planning, engineering and placemaking. They are looking to expand their structural capability as part of their wider business growth plans. About the Role This is a senior leadership position within the structural team, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of the function. The role is hands-on, combining technical delivery with leadership responsibilities. You will be responsible for delivering design work, signing off designs and setting the direction of the structural offering. You will also work closely with development infrastructure and geotechnical teams, contributing to a fully integrated design approach. There is a clear pathway for progression, with the opportunity to move into a Director-level position within 2-5 years. You will also take responsibility for recruitment.
