Our client is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Head of SEN to join an Outstanding school in Birmingham from September. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic development of SEND provision and ensuring all students receive the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
The successful candidate will lead on EHCP coordination, intervention strategy, staff training, and compliance with SEND legislation. You will work closely with senior leaders, Heads of Year, safeguarding teams, and external agencies to ensure inclusive practice is embedded across the school.
This role would suit an experienced SENCO or inclusion leader with a strong track record of raising outcomes for students with additional needs and leading whole-school initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
• National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and safeguarding procedures
• Proven leadership experience within a secondary school setting
