Quantity Surveyor
Are you a Rail Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a contractor on major rail or civils projects? Do you want the opportunity to work on a major rail project? Location: Birmingham + 1 day working from home per week Salary: £45,000 to £58,000 per annum DOE Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri Are you a proactive and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven ability to take ownership and drive results? - Working with the SQS you will lead, manage, develop and train the commercial teams across your portfolio of projects
- Assist on all contractual matters from inception to close out via in depth understanding of the contract and its implications for profit delivery.
- Assisting in the preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings.
- Assist in the management of the Risk & Opportunities process.
- Produce monthly CVR reports.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working on civil engineering/infrastructure projects for a contractor, ideally within the rail/civils industry on major projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- Chartered by the RICS/CIOB (preferred)
