A prestigious independent day school in Birmingham is looking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of English to join its high-performing department from January 2026.

The Role
You will teach English Literature and Language across KS3–KS5, working with small, highly motivated classes. The department values close reading, analytical writing and confident oral discussion, and offers a rich programme of co-curricular opportunities.
You will:
Teach challenging and engaging lessons to high-attaining pupils
Prepare students thoroughly for public examinations
Support enrichment such as debating societies, theatre visits and writing competitions
Contribute to departmental planning and academic initiatives
