We are searching for a commercially-minded School Bursar for a vibrant secondary school in Solihull . The successful candidate will bring a high level of professional integrity and the ability to streamline administrative processes to support the school’s academic mission.

Location: Solihull (Central location with excellent transport links)
Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 (Based on experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Requirement: Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or CIPFA) is highly desirable.
Detailed Responsibilities
Audit & Transparency: Coordinating the annual external audit and ensuring all financial transactions are transparent and documented.
Contract Negotiation: Reviewing and renewing service level agreements (SLAs) for cleaning, catering, and security.
Grant Management: Identifying opportunities for external funding and managing the application process for government and private grants.
IT Strategy: Working with the IT Manager to ensure the school’s technology infrastructure is robust and cost-effective.
