Van Driver - Birmingham (B24 8TQ)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well‑established client based in Birmingham (B24 8TQ).

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress. This role will be ongoing for the right candidate.

You must be aged 21 or over for our client's insurance purposes and MUST have van or courier experience. You must have no more than six points on your driving licence. If you do have six points, three of these must be due to come off within the next six months.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Delivery Driver , Multi Drop Driver , or Courier .

Shifts:

* Monday to Saturday (you MUST be able to work every Saturday)
* Monday to Friday start times between 06:45 - 07:15 (dependent on route)
* Maximum 12‑hour shifts, including breaks

Rates of Pay:

£14.12 - £18.78 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a Van Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Loading your own vehicle each morning (full van load - physical role)
* Delivering to pharmacies, doctors' surgeries, and hospitals
* Completing multi-drop deliveries (typically 30-40 drops, depending on route)
* Handling high-value medical products and equipment
* Working with temperature-controlled goods (full training provided)
* Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers
* Reporting any vehicle defects or issues

Essential Skills:

To be successful in this role, you must:

* Hold a valid UK Category B driving licence
* Have previous van or courier driving experience
* Have no more than six points on your licence (maximum of three points expiring within six months)
* Be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
* Live within 10 miles of B24 8TQ
* Have strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Training:

* Assessment process including theory (scenario-based questions) and a practical driving test
* Full training provided, including the handling of temperature-controlled products
* Ongoing support and development
