Looking for art tutor for beginner to intermediate classes
I’m seeking a patient and creative art tutor to help a beginner student develop fundamental drawing and painting skills. The sessions should cover basic techniques, color theory, composition, and safe studio habits. I’d prefer weekly 1.5 to 2.0 hour lessons, with the possibility of extending if progress is good. The student is aiming to build a small portfolio of sketches and studies suitable for a school project. Flexible weekend slots are ideal, but weekday evenings could work. Experience with portraiture and still life, and the ability to provide constructive feedback and supportive encouragement, would be great. Materials will be provided or can be discussed. Please include your rate, approach, and available times.
