HLTA SEN Specialist
HLTA – SEN Schools Across Birmingham Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Birmingham – All Postcodes
Pay: £100 - £130 Per day (Based on experience)
Contract: Full time and part time opportunities available
• Cover lessons in the absence of teaching staff when required.
• Support pupils with EHCPs and additional learning needs.
• Encourage engagement, independence and positive behaviour.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupil progress.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families. About the Schools • Variety of SEN schools and alternative provisions across Birmingham.
• Supportive teams with ongoing guidance and training.
• Opportunities within primary, secondary and specialist settings.
• Flexible placements to suit availability and experience. Requirements • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous SEN experience essential.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Reliable, adaptable and proactive approach.
