Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO we are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives at our Franke site inMerlin Park, Birmingham.

This is a full time, permanent role.

You will be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours between 10:00 – 1:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Accurately picking of customer orders
• Loading and offloading deliveries using counterbalance
• Safely operating machines / equipment as per training according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Using Warehouse Management systems
• Complying with agreed procedures to ensure a safe and legal working environment and consistent quality standards

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Counterbalance licence desirable
• Proven experience of driving counterbalance/ reach truck
• Warehouse experience and understanding of inventory processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team , showing initiative and adaptability
• Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards
