A week in the life of the Year 3 Teacher
Mornings: the Year 3 Teacher leads mathematics and English lessons focused on reasoning, fluency and vocabulary. Afternoons: the Year 3 Teacher delivers enquiry-led foundation topics, practical science and project work. The Year 3 Teacher will run interventions, prepare moderation materials and lead an enrichment club as the Year 3 Teacher. Planning and assessment cycles will begin before January 2026 and continue after January 2026 with regular review points.

Year 3 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 3 Teacher will: plan sequenced maths and English as the Year 3 Teacher; design cross-curricular projects and hands-on science as the Year 3 Teacher; use assessment to personalise learning and run small-group boosters as the Year 3 Teacher. The Year 3 Teacher will liaise with parents and will present progress data in termly meetings after January 2026.

Year 3 Teacher Requirements
We are seeking a Year 3 Teacher with QTS, secure KS2 classroom practice and strong subject knowledge. The Year 3 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and teaching from January 2026. The ideal Year 3 Teacher is collaborative, data-literate and passionate about developing pupils’ subject knowledge.
