As a Physics Teacher, you will teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level depending on experience. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4, with optional KS5 opportunities

• Planning and delivering differentiated, engaging, and challenging lessons

• Conducting practical experiments safely and effectively, linking theory to real-world applications

• Assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting development

• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning

• Maintaining a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment

• Supporting extracurricular Science activities, including STEM clubs and competitions

• Collaborating with colleagues across the department and school

Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a degree in Physics or a closely related Science subject

• Have PGCE or QTS , or be completing an ECT programme

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics

• Have experience teaching secondary pupils, or relevant placements for ECTs

• Be confident in planning practical lessons, classroom management, and assessment

• Be committed to inclusive teaching and safeguarding
