Job Title: Site Manager / Contracts Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands (UK Wide multi-site travel required)
Salary & Package: £50,000 - £55,000 + Vehicle or Allowance + Millage & Expenses paid for travel + 25/8 Days Holiday + Excellent Company Benefits

This role will be working for a well-established main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK.

Operating within the dynamic build division, this business specialises in commercial and industrial build projects and is entering an exciting period of strategic growth.

With a strong pipeline of secured work and ambitious expansion plans over the next five years, our client is investing in experienced construction professionals who are looking to progress into senior operational leadership roles.

The Role:

This role requires an experienced Site Manager to oversee a cluster of single and double storey build projects, with individual project values ranging from £500k to £6m.

• End-to-end site management from pre-construction to handover
• Management of subcontractors, direct labour, and site teams
• Ensuring full H&S compliance and adherence to company standards
• Programme management, cost control, and quality assurance
• Leading site meetings and reporting progress to senior leadership
• Coordination of materials, logistics, and supply chain performance
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Overseeing multiple projects within a regional portfolio
• Supporting operational strategy and business growth initiatives
• Mentoring junior managers and driving continuous improvement
• Supporting senior-level client relationship management
• Ensuring successful, safe, and profitable project delivery

The Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Contract Manager within a build construction environment.
• Strong track record delivering commercial and/or industrial build projects
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, cost control, and H&S compliance
• CSCS Card/ NVQ Level 6 or NVQ Level 7 in Construction Management (or equivalent)
• SMSTS
• First Aid (preferred)
