PPA Teacher - Birmingham

A well-resourced school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join the team with a start date of January 2026. The successful PPA Teacher will deliver engaging PPA lessons across classes, take responsibility for planned cover lessons and ensure continuity of learning during PPA time. The PPA Teacher will collaborate closely with year-group teams and phase leaders to maintain high standards and support pupil progress. We welcome applicants who are experienced PPA Teacher practitioners as well as those looking to specialize in PPA provision.

The role of PPA Teacher will include delivering creative, differentiated lessons across the curriculum, providing clear feedback to class teachers and contributing to whole-school initiatives. As PPA Teacher, you will uphold assessment and behaviour expectations, liaise with teaching assistants and ensure that all PPA sessions meet curriculum objectives. The post begins January 2026, and the appointed PPA Teacher will be involved in planning and handover processes from January 2026 to ensure a smooth spring term.
