Consultant Anaesthetist in Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplant
The successful applicant will join a team of 16 consultants in providing Liver anaesthesia on-site at QEH. The core component of which is to provide anaesthetic cover for HPB and Liver Transplant surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, both in normal working hours and on call. Additionally post holders will contribute to anaesthetic cover for a range of surgical specialty lists. The post holder must understand the significant ongoing changes in the Trust 's services and be prepared to take an active part in the change program. We have included a suggested job plan in Appendix 1, but the successful candidate will be invited to discuss these options with the Specialty and Departmental CSLs on appointment.
