A highly regarded primary academy in West Bromwich is seeking a proactive, hands-on Caretaker for a permanent position starting immediately. Responsibility centers entirely on the physical upkeep, security, and safety of the school site. Duties include opening or closing the premises, carrying out minor reactive maintenance and repairs, conducting regular safety checks (such as fire alarm and water testing), and ensuring the grounds are kept clean, tidy, and safe.

Requirements * Essential: You must have previous school experience working as a caretaker or site assistant within a UK educational campus.

• Strong DIY skills, knowledge of basic health and safety protocols, and a proactive approach to building maintenance.

Key Details & Benefits * Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Year contract, split-shift system e.g., 7:00 am - 11:00 am & 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm).

• Salary Range: £23,500 – £27,000 per annum (highly competitive package for the region).
