Primary Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant - Birmingham Looking to gain further experience within primary schools or continue your career as a Teaching Assistant in a supportive environment? Bright Star Talent is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools in Birmingham. We have flexible opportunities available including day-to-day cover, short-term placements, and longer-term roles supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and supporting their learning and development within the classroom. The Role:
- Support class teachers with daily classroom activities
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Help create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Support children with learning, behaviour, and classroom tasks
- Assist with classroom organisation and preparation
- Encourage pupil confidence, participation, and progress
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
- Experience working within UK primary schools desirable
- Positive, proactive, and flexible approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting children’s education and development
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
