Power Press Setter Operator
We are currently seeking an Experienced Press Setter/Tool Setter and part-operator within the company. The company undertakes presswork, Deep drawn components, and toolmaking amongst other operations. Working in a variety of standard and exotic metals including Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel and others.. Responsibilities/Expectations You would be expected of the following:
- Set mechanical presses up to 800 tons.
- Set hydraulic presses up to 200 tons
- Set tandem presses
- Operate presses when required (common on development jobs or small batch work).
- To have good housekeeping.
- To have good organisation skills (especially with press shop tooling).
- To have a clear capability of reading and working to technical drawings.
- Any additional experience/capability on lathes will be an advantage.
