HV Operations Manager

About the role: We are seeking an experienced HV Operations Manager to lead, manage, and deliver a portfolio of electrical network projects across UK HV/LV infrastructure works. The role is accountable for safe delivery, commercial performance, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance (including the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS)), and achievement of portfolio objectives across multiple concurrent projects.

This is a permanent, remote staff position and can be based anywhere in the UK, with regular travel to be expected.

What you'll do: As HV Operations Manager you will ensure a diverse portfolio of projects is delivered to programme, budget, quality, and safety standards while maintaining full compliance with industry regulations, accreditation requirements, and company governance, primarily covering the following:

• Safe delivery of all projects within the TSG Power portfolio
• Delivery within budget and margin targets across the portfolio
• Develop, implement, and improve operational policies, procedures, and KPIs
• Lead, mentor, and develop operational teams to drive performance and engagement
• Achievement of all programme milestones
• Compliance with NERS accreditation requirements
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Customer satisfaction and retention

About you: You have a notable background in electrical network project delivery (HV/LV) combined with a strong understanding of ICP operations and contestable works. You have a proven capacity for leadership having already spent time in a line management role and have built and developed a strong commercial and financial awareness over your career. You pride yourself on your contract management and you are used to managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction management
• Knowledge of DNO standards, G81 framework, and industry regulations
• Strong leadership presence and decision-making ability
• Highly collaborative, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Accountable, with high integrity and a commitment to safety
• Adaptable and resilient, able to manage competing priorities
• Analytical with strong problem-solving capability
• Willing to travel across the UK
• Authorised NERS Assessing Officer or experience supporting NERS accreditation is a bonus, as is project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM)
