Residential Conveyancer

Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancer to join a growing Residential Property team in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. This is a permanent, full-time job offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, hybrid working, and an attractive bonus structure. About the Role

This Conveyancer job offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse residential property caseload within a well-established and expanding team. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of client service while managing matters independently from instruction through to completion. The position provides a varied workload, opportunities to support junior colleagues, and the chance to contribute to the continued growth of the Residential Property department.

Key responsibilities include

• Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion
• Overseeing residential sales and purchases for a broad client base
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers
• Supporting and mentoring conveyancing assistants within the department
• Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to other legal services offered by the firm
• Handling remortgage and equity release matters
• Advising on transfer of equity transactions and matrimonial property transfers
• Reviewing and investigating freehold and leasehold titles
• Ensuring compliance with CQS protocols and regulatory requirements
• Providing support to other offices within the firm when required
• Maintaining accurate file management and case progression throughout transactions

About You

Applications are welcomed from Conveyancers, Residential Property Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licensed Conveyancers or highly experienced non-qualified fee earners with a strong background in conveyancing.

You should also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload independently
• Strong technical knowledge of residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfer of equity matters
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and case management
• Confidence using case management systems and legal technology
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• A professional and courteous approach when working with colleagues and clients
• Understanding of the residential property market and conveyancing process
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to support team success
