Social Sciences Teacher (Psychology/Sociology) – Sixth Form Specialist – Birmingham
A large secondary school in Birmingham with a thriving Sixth Form is seeking a dedicated Social Sciences Teacher to focus on Psychology and Sociology from January 2026.
- Social Sciences Teacher (Psychology/Sociology Specialist) required from January 2026

You will teach A-Level Psychology and A-Level Sociology across the Sixth Form. The role involves supporting students with complex analytical essay writing, coordinating independent research projects, and preparing students for competitive university entry.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Social Science.
- Proven experience teaching both A-Level Psychology and Sociology is essential.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current research and ethical practices in both disciplines.
- Commitment to leading an academic society or debating club.
