The Firm & Team This national firm boasts a highly regarded Commercial Property practice, consistently ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers UK. The housebuilder sector team is multi-disciplinary and integrated across the firm's national offices. Key highlights include:

• Acting for some of the UK's largest housebuilders
• Providing cradle-to-grave legal support across the development lifecycle - from land acquisition and planning to site setup and plot sales
• Led by senior lawyers with deep in-house and sector-specific experience

The Role As a Solicitor or Associate in the Birmingham office, you will:

• Support partners and senior lawyers on residential development work including acquisitions, disposals, site assembly, and land promotion
• Be exposed to a broad mix of real estate matters to ensure variety in your workload and a rounded foundation in property law
• Assist with client relationship management and business development initiatives
• Work directly with major national and regional housebuilders, gaining high-value experience and sector knowledge
• Build your technical expertise and commercial acumen in a high-performing, supportive team environment

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 1 year PQE in commercial property, ideally gained at a recognised real estate practice
• An interest in or exposure to the residential development or housebuilder sector (not essential but advantageous)
• Strong academics and a high level of technical proficiency
• A team-oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• Ambition to develop your career and build strong client relationships
