Technical Project Manager
Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Residential Development
A leading property and development consultancy has just secured major new work in the Midlands and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Birmingham team.
The Role:- Deliver large-scale residential & mixed-use developments
- Pre-planning, technical due diligence & infrastructure delivery
- Client-facing role supporting leading housebuilders
- 3-6 month contract, with scope to go temp-to-perm
The ideal person will bring a blend of technical knowledge and project management experience.
Specifically, they should have:
- Seniority: Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level (not junior).
- Technical background: A design background or degree in civil engineering, with strong practical experience in housebuilding.
- Specialist knowledge: A solid understanding of highway agreements and drainage agreements, as well as infrastructure-led delivery.
- Residential focus: Experience managing strategic residential housing sites (low-rise, large-scale schemes rather than apartments).
- Industry experience: Ideally from a housebuilder; otherwise, consultancy/design backgrounds with housebuilding exposure will be considered.
- Location & flexibility: Midlands-based, with 3 days in the Birmingham office/sites and 2 days working from home.
