The site is busy, well‑used, and central to the school’s daily operations, so they are seeking a reliable and experienced Premises Manager who can take ownership of the estate and confidently supervise one other premises assistant. The Opportunity This temp‑to‑perm role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment and understands the importance of a well‑run school site. You’ll be the go‑to person for all things facilities, ensuring the grounds, buildings, and equipment are safe, compliant, and ready for use each day. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting one Premises Assistant
• Managing daily site operations, including security, maintenance, and compliance
• Carrying out routine checks, health & safety tasks, and planned maintenance
• Coordinating contractors and external services
• Ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and fully functional
• Responding quickly to issues and supporting the wider staff team

This role suits someone who can combine practical skills with confident leadership and clear communication. What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a school premises or site management role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Solid understanding of health & safety, safeguarding, and compliance
• Ability to manage workloads, delegate tasks, and prioritise effectively
• DBS on the Update Service (essential)
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently

Contract & Hours

• 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday
• All‑year‑round position
• Temp to perm for the right candidate
• Start and finish times to be confirmed
