Associate Electrical Design Engineer

Your new role
You will join as an Associate Electrical Design Engineer, taking ownership of electrical design delivery across a range of building services projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking to step up into a more strategic, leadership-focused position.Your responsibilities will include leading project delivery from concept through to completion, producing and reviewing detailed electrical designs (including power, lighting, and life safety systems), and acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
You will also play a key role in mentoring junior engineers, supporting team development, and contributing to project planning, resource management, and business growth. What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in electrical design within a building services consultancy environmentCurrently operating at Senior Engineer level or above, with a desire to step into an Associate role
Strong knowledge of UK regulations and standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE guidance)
Experience working across sectors such as commercial, residential, or education
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines
Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux (or similar)
