Part-Time GP Pharmacy Technician Role - Birmingham Remote Considered

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a GP Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in enhancing medication safety and efficiency in a primary care setting. In this role, you will:

• conduct medication reviews
• reauthorise long-term medications
• carry out SMR (structured medication reviews)
• collaborate with the wider clinical team
• maintain accurate patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• a current and valid registration with the GPhC
• experience working in primary care or GP settings
• knowledge of EMIS or SystmOne
• strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• ability to work independently and manage patient workflows
• access to a secure laptop with EMIS or SystmOne (if applying for remote work)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a part-time, flexible locum position requiring availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:30pm–6:30pm . The role is ideally onsite in Birmingham , however remote working will be considered for the right candidate who has their own IT set-up with access to EMIS or SystmOne. The contract is ongoing , with extension likely depending on performance and service needs.
