Hire Controller - Civil Engineering / Construction

About the Role This Hire Controller role will involve managing the day-to-day coordination of plant hire requirements, ensuring customers receive the right equipment on time and with the correct support in place. The Hire Controller will act as a central point of contact between customers, transport, operators, and the internal team. The Hire Controller will be responsible for handling incoming hire enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and organising deliveries and collections. The role will also involve liaising with drivers, monitoring fleet availability, updating hire systems, and ensuring excellent communication throughout the hire process. This Hire Controller position would suit someone with previous experience within plant hire, tool hire, construction hire, transport coordination, or a similar fast-paced operational environment.
