Maintenance Specialist
Maintenance Specialist - Team Leader __ In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities. - Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on various types of machines / equipment (e.g., bearings, conveyors, pneumatics)
- Support Electrical maintenance engineer with Sensors, motors control panels etc.
- Maintain tool and carry out repairs to equipment to ensure safe working order.
- Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
- Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
- Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
- Time-served or formally qualified in Mechanical engineering
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical engineering knowledge.
- Experience with tool setting and machine tool setup, with strong familiarity across workshop machinery such as lathes, milling machines, drills, and grinders.
- Working knowledge of maintenance practices using CMMS systems, including the ability to analyse data to drive continuous improvement and optimise performance.
- Ability to read and interpret both mechanical to support manufacturing processes and equipment enhancements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels across the business.
