Year 3 Teacher - Birmingham
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham is seeking a motivated Year 3 Teacher to join their Lower KS2 team from January 2026. The school is committed to providing a broad, balanced curriculum that supports academic progress while nurturing confidence, independence, and curiosity in learners.
• Year 3 Teacher required on a full-time basis from January 2026
• Year 3 Teacher role within a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Birmingham
• Permanent opportunity beginning January 2026
The leadership team is approachable and highly supportive, offering structured induction and ongoing professional development. Staff work collaboratively to ensure consistency across year groups and to maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
Supporting pupils as they transition into lower KS2
Using assessment to inform teaching and learning
Maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Secure subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching
Strong classroom management skills
Commitment to inclusive practice
Willingness to engage in professional development
