Lawn and pond maintenance: keep our garden pond healthy
I'm looking for a reliable gardener to help with ongoing maintenance of our small garden pond. Tasks include water quality checks, algae management, netting to deter wildlife, feed reminders for fish, and seasonal cleaning of the filter and pond floor. We prefer someone who understands basic pond ecology and can use safe, fish-friendly treatments. We have a small, self-contained pond about 3x2 meters. Availability mornings on weekdays would be ideal, and we’d like a plan for monthly visits without disrupting the wildlife in and around the pond. Please mention any equipment you bring or can source, and your approach to ensuring the water stays clear and healthy for the fish.
