Require painting of shutters - exterior wooden shutters refresh
I'm looking for a reliable tradesperson to repaint a set of exterior wooden shutters on my house. They are currently faded and show some peeling, and I’d like a fresh, durable finish that lasts. The project includes light surface preparation (washing, sanding flaky paint, and filling small scratches), priming, and applying two coats of outdoor paint suitable for UK weather. I prefer a weatherproof, low-gloss finish and would like a colour close to the current neutral shade. Please include cleanup, protect surrounding areas, and provide an estimate for materials. I have access to a water supply and a small ladder if needed. Ideally, work would be done on a dry day with minimal disruption.
