Associate / Senior Associate | Banking & Finance | Birmingham | 4-7 PQE BCL Legal is proud to be working with a leading national law firm that is seeking to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate into its Banking & Finance team in Birmingham. About the Role

• Acquisition finance
• Real estate finance
• Project finance
• Asset-based lending

Based in Birmingham, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative national team. The firm fully embraces hybrid and flexible working, encouraging a healthy work-life balance. What You'll Be Doing As an Associate or Senior Associate in the Banking & Finance team, you will: Advise on a wide range of finance transactions for major clearing banks, challenger banks, specialist lenders, private equity houses, management teams and borrowers. Draft and negotiate facility agreements, LMA agreements, credit agreements and security documentation. Work across acquisition finance, real estate finance and development projects, often with international elements. Collaborate with colleagues across offices to deliver seamless client service. Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives. About You We are looking for a solicitor with:

• 4-7 years' PQE in banking and finance (qualified in England & Wales or equivalent).
• Strong technical and drafting skills with experience in LMA-style documentation.
• Excellent negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with clients at all levels.
• Drive, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for banking and finance law.
