We are currently seeking a Laundry Operative to join our dedicated team at the Birmingham branch. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. Laundry Operative Role

As a Laundry Operative, you will cover a wide variety of tasks within the processing area of the branch to support colleagues and customers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the daily running of the processing unit which will include PowerTrans machines, RugtVedt rolling machines and dryers
• Ensuring hourly production targets are met
• Complying with all health and safety legislation
• Ensuring that dust mats which are processed meet the company standards
• Frequently maintaining the operating equipment
• Reporting equipment with defects to the appropriate team member
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within your area of work

Laundry Operative Requirements:

• Factory or logistics experience would be preferred
• An FLT licence would be an advantage but training will be provided
• Good team player
• Ability to work to targets
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety
• Excellent attention to detail
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
