We are currently seeking a Laundry Operative to join our dedicated team at the Birmingham branch. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. Laundry Operative Role
As a Laundry Operative, you will cover a wide variety of tasks within the processing area of the branch to support colleagues and customers.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the daily running of the processing unit which will include PowerTrans machines, RugtVedt rolling machines and dryers
- Ensuring hourly production targets are met
- Complying with all health and safety legislation
- Ensuring that dust mats which are processed meet the company standards
- Frequently maintaining the operating equipment
- Reporting equipment with defects to the appropriate team member
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within your area of work
Laundry Operative Requirements:
- Factory or logistics experience would be preferred
- An FLT licence would be an advantage but training will be provided
- Good team player
- Ability to work to targets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety
- Excellent attention to detail
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
