Need help planting orchard fruit trees in my garden
I’m planning to expand my small garden with a row of fruit trees and could use an experienced gardener to help. I have several young fruit trees (apple, pear, plum) that need proper spacing, digging, and planting in prepared soil. I’d like guidance on soil amendments, compost, and mulch, and I’d prefer someone who can also advise on tree staking and initial watering schedule. The work should minimize root disturbance and be suitable for a UK climate. If possible, please bring basic tools and be comfortable working in a pet-friendly garden. I’m aiming to complete the planting this coming weekend, weather permitting.
