English Teacher Vacancy - Leading School in Birmingham!
A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join its successful English department. Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Differentiate lessons effectively to meet the needs of all learners.
Assess, monitor and support student progress in line with school policies.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour for learning.
Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities and departmental development.
Provide pastoral support and build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
Prepare students confidently for GCSE examinations and coursework requirements.
Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student wellbeing at all times.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
The ability to work collaboratively within a successful department.
High expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Salary: MPS/UPS dependent on experience
