Programme Description

Our Women who Audit: Step into Summer insight programme is designed to inspire women to kickstart careers in audit. If you’re a problem solver with a keen interest in business, then this one-day insight programme could be right for you.

Who is Women who Audit: Step into Summer for?

This programme is for students in their first year of university (or second year of a four-year course) who are on track for a 2:1. The programme welcomes people from all backgrounds, studying for any degree subject.

It’s suited to students who are interested in accountancy and might like to pursue a career within Audit & Assurance. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from inspiring female leaders, learn how our teams operate and build skills for the future. You'll gain practical experience and an insight into the work we do at Deloitte.

What skills and academic qualifications do I need?

Your degree can be in any discipline and you don’t need any specific skills, but we are looking for people who are curious about Audit and keen to learn. You must also have a predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above.

What will I be doing?

You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the exciting projects we run and meet with some of our female leaders in Audit. As well as gaining an insight into the work you could be doing, you’ll also hear more about our values and inclusive culture.

When and where does Women who Audit: Step into Summer take place?

The event will take place online on Wednesday 15th July 2026 .

Women who Audit: Step into Summer can open new opportunities within the firm. After you’ve completed your programme, you could convert to our Summer Vacation Scheme or Industrial Placement in Audit & Assurance.
