About the Role

As a Highways Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting both reactive and planned highways maintenance works. Your contributions will help ensure the safety and efficiency of our transportation network.

Permanent, Full-time

Salary

£27,976 to £33,000 depending on experience, plus call-out, overtime, and standby pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the network, operating various plant and equipment.
• Ensure site and company equipment is secure and raise any issues with your designated supervisor.
• Complete daily record sheets and maintain accurate records of works on the network.
• Utilize WMS / MMW applications during incidents and emergency repairs.
• Conduct daily defect reports on vehicles and maintain them in good order.

What We Are Looking For

This role is ideal for you if you:

• Are Street Works qualified (units 1-9).
• Hold a full driving license and a Category C license.
• Can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
