Cleaner
A friendly, well‑organised school in Turves Green is looking for a reliable, hard‑working Cleaner to join their site team. This role suits someone who takes pride in keeping environments clean, safe, and welcoming for pupils and staff. 🧽 Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces
- Emptying bins and managing waste safely
- Replenishing hygiene and cleaning supplies
- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager
- Working independently and as part of a supportive cleaning team
- Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and work efficiently
- Basic understanding of health & safety and COSHH (training can be provided)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
