Building Surveyor
The Building Surveyor will join a long established property organisation managing a varied commercial, industrial, logistics, retail and leisure property portfolio. The building surveyor will support investment, asset management and development surveying instructions. The team focuses on practical building surveying delivery and commercial property performance. The Role
As the Building Surveyor you will deliver and support core building surveying services across a range of property instructions. The role will include:
* Undertaking condition surveys and preparing client facing building surveyor reports
* Supporting property documentation including drawings, specifications and schedules of work
* Carrying out site inspections to monitor quality, progress and health and safety compliance
* Assisting with contract administration and contractor coordination
* Supporting project and property handovers
* Attending client and internal meetings representing the building surveyor team
* Travelling to sites and client locations when required The Building Surveyor?
You will be motivated to build a long term career in building surveying and property surveying services. Applications without a genuine interest in building surveying or the built environment will not be considered. The Building Surveyor must have:
* Degree or relevant qualification in building surveying or property related discipline
* Experience or strong interest in commercial building surveying or construction property work
* Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Ability to work within a professional surveying team
* Strong communication and technical reporting skills In return……?
